Saved Date now includes timestamp in the Beta

Recommended Posts

I am using the latest beta of Affinity Publisher, and the Saved Date text field got changed to also include a timestamp. Previously it only showed the date. Is this by design or a bug?

I really need the current date to automatically update each time I save a new version of the document. is there a way to modify the date format, or is there any other text field that would accomplish the same task to automatically update today's date upon save?

The Date fields have always optionally included the Time, even in V1. And they still all default to None for the Time format for me. I'm not sure why yours would have suddenly started showing it. But just reset the format in the Fields panel, and you should be fine.

Hi Motljus,

By default, mine are not including a time either. I've not seen them changing on load of a file. As Walt has said you can change the field from the Fields Panel to not include the time. Alternatively you can also do this by Right Clicking the date field and selecting 'Edit Field' and it will change it for that instance
