File with multiple PDF's can only be updated twice then it FREEZES

I have seen other Freezing problems with Publisher 2.  I use Publisher with multiple PDF's never a problem in Publisher 1.  In Publisher 2.1.1 its another story.

I open Publisher with many pdf's placed in file.  Select a pdf that has been updated and in Resource manager click on Update.  Then save Publisher file, all is okay.

But if the PDF has been updated a couple of times and I have been back to the Resource manager to update a few times, Publisher 2.1.1 freezes.

My apologies but for privacy reasons, I am unable to send you the file.  I would lose a client in a jiffy!!

The fact that you have asked me for a copy of a file means you cannot replicate the problem?  If this is the case I will try to create a fake set of pdf's and a publisher document to send to you.  But this is irritating as I have multiple files that are doing this.

Here is my workflow:  I create the pdf's from QCAD (this is a DXF Cad program that has a pdf exporter built in.  I then create the publisher file on a M1 Mac running the latest and greatest OS from Apple.

oh and I forgot to mention, that having Affinity on my Mac OS makes the Mac OS even more of a delight to use 🙂
