I've tried searching, but think I am asking the question using the wrong words...

I have a playbill which includes artist photos and biographies. I want the top of the artist's photo to appear with their bio, and aligned with the top of the text of their bio. Because it is a fluid document until it is printed, there is a lot of rearranging that happens.

My question is what is the best way - or is there a way - to accomplish the layout in this photo such that I can cut and paste the photo and text, and that I can have the top of the photo align with the text of their bio?

When I cut and paste, the photo doesn't get cut (or pasted).

Perhaps you want a separate Text Frame for that text, so you can group the image and the Text Frame so they will stay together?
