anto
I do not know what happens. I tried to create linear gradient, but got something like in picture. Where is mistake? When I clean all fills, after seems to work. 2023-08-18 10-00-33.mp4 2023-08-18 10-06-52.mp4 2023-08-18 10-10-31.mp4 grad.afpub
Hangman
Hi @anto, Select the Gradient Tool, then select Stroke in the Context toolbar and stretch the start and end nodes for the gradient so they cover the entire width of your stroke like this... grad.mp4 Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.3.2165 | Affinity Photo 2.2.3.2165 | Affinity Publisher 2.2.3.2165 Affinity Designer 1.7.3 | Affinity Photo 1.7.3 | Affinity Publisher 1.10.6 MacBook Pro 16GB, macOS Monterey 12.6.

Thanks. And why is that? I have not used this tool at all.
Staff Sean P Posted August 18 Staff Share Posted August 18 2 minutes ago, anto said: Thanks. And why is that? I have not used this tool at all. Hi Anto, I can reproduce this. Tools remember the last settings used, and it appears that if a stroke is applied to a 2 point 'line', the gradient start and end handles are being lost (likely because the line has a height of zero). If its done with a shape with more than 2 nodes (no longer a 'line') it doesn't happen. I'll get this logged.
