Hangman Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 I don't know whether this is by design or would be considered a bug but when carrying out a Find and Replace there is no way to clear the search results, e.g., I Find Alice, I Replace with Andrew, hit Find to show the search results, then I remove both Find and Replace search terms so the fields are empty which results in the Find button being greyed out. I close the Find and Replace panel and re-open it and the original (previously deleted) Find Term, Alice appears in the Find box but the along with the search results Replace box is blank. The Replace/Replace All buttons now replace Alice with nothing, i.e., it deletes all instances of Alice. It seems to me that removing the Find search term should clear the search results, more so after the panel is closed and re-opened. Staff Lee D Posted August 17, 2023 Staff Posted August 17, 2023 This has been requested as an improvement to the Find and Replace panel. Hangman 1 Quote
