Girlvsworld Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 According to the manual I just have to select the text frame and use the place tool but nothing happens. I have about 40 linked text frames. Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 You can Place a text document into a Text Frame, and it will probably overflow. At that point, you can Shift+Click on the red linking triangle on the lower-right edge of the Text Frame, and Publisher will create additional pages identical in layout to your first page to hold the additional Text Frames that are needed. Note that if you have a Facing Page document, it's best if you set up a Master Page, with a Text Frame on each side of the spread, and link them together so that everything will flow properly on the generated pages. Girlvsworld Posted August 17, 2023 Author Posted August 17, 2023 Thanks, I already have around 40 linked text frames, I want to replace the text I already placed, but it worked when I only selected the first frame! Quote

You're welcome. I'm not sure I understand this last comment, but if it's working that's good. I would have expected that Placing new text in a flow that already had text would have simply pushed the old text downward in the flow between frames, such that it "fell off" the end. You would then need to select that overflow text at the end of the flow and delete it.
