Publisher 2. Rulers and pages flash

RC 2.2.0.1986 the same problem. Is it invisible to the naked eye that the ruler is flashing?

Could you solve this bug in Windows?

See how the Mac version works.

Can one of the moderators take this issue seriously? Need to tag someone?

Three weeks have passed and the problem has not even been registered.

As I previously mentioned, this is not a bug. Moving to the feedback section.

Rulers and pages flash when you switch Persons.

Each of the Personas has its own specific studio settings (Right, Left) and toolbar, so when you switch Personas, the desktop including the ruler is redrawn (see also your example, where the width of the right studio is different in each persona). The redraw method can be specific to each OS (for example, Mac can't do Left Studio), so it can make different manifestations when redraw.

Read the moderator's response.
This is normal.
How can it be normal when it's not? Normal with the Mac version, but not with Windows. And this topic was blocked for 3 weeks. In "Feedback & Suggestions", it will wait for another 10 years for its priority. It negatively affects my eyesight when everything jumps and floats somewhere, there is no contrast, etc.

As @Pšenda has already mentioned, MacOS and Windows both use very different technology to draw the UI, this flickering is a side effect of the way this technology works, so resolving this is not as simple as fixing a bug, it would require replacing the whole of the technology behind drawing the UI.

This is something we wish to improve in the future, and this (and the added extra) feedback is obviously valid, but it is not a bug, hence being moved to the feedback area of the forum.

Please explain this immediately in the future, but do not put it on the back burner. When I report bugs, I want to have feedback as well, because I work in programs and feel uncomfortable, so I report it. Don't ignore it.
Thank you.
