Andrew (Poland)
Imagine posssiblity of using Affnity on Linux. Nobody takes Linux seriously, because you can't do real graphics on it with a real dedicated program (Adobe/Affinity) - Gimp doesn't count. Mac OS and Windows are systems designed for productivity. But that would change if by some miracle the Affinity package was converted to Linux. Loren Dias
I literally just starting running Affinity Photo 2 on Linux just fine a week ago using ElementalWarrior's WINE fork. Assuming you're a seasoned user simply swap out the URL's in `wine-git` PKGBUILD if you are using Archlinux and it runs just fine. I've only poked at it a few hours. But having never been a Affinity user before it does just fine. Or just follow the guide on the post above ^^.
michalmph
+1 to Linux support, even if it's officially through WINE. Some 3d pipelines use Linux extensively (Houdini, Mari, Blender, and a few others have Linux variants), but there's no good native graphic and vector editing tools. Some competition from Krita and Inkscape. No competition in DTP, unless Sphinx counts 😄
