MikeTO
My keyboard shortcuts for text editing got messed up with the 1954 macOS beta update. For example, my Move Word Begin shortcut now does Move Line End. My Move Word End shortcut is now blank. Select Story End is now Tab which prevents typing the Tab character. Loading Serif Defaults works fine, it's just shortcuts saved from the last beta that is an issue. This is the second time I've had a problem like this with the 2.2 beta so here is the shortcuts file I saved with the last beta in case that's helpful with testing. Publisher22 shortcuts.affshortcuts Here's another user reporting the Tab shortcut issue but I started a new thread since that was in a thread about Sonoma compatibility. Thanks, Mike, for identifying that this was the issue. I was able to go in and fix my shortcuts there. It looks like everything maybe got moved by one? Off by one item? Anyhow, I can use a tab again normally, and I fixed my home and end issues while I was in there

MikeTO
The problem is broader than text editing shortcuts. Delete for deleting a layer or a node is also broken when loading saved shortcuts. I'm off now to go review all of my shortcuts and fix them manually. Staff Sean P Posted August 16, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 16, 2023 Thanks Mike and all! I've replicated this both with text editing shortcuts and delete. It does affect a regular 2.1 install that has edited shortcuts when upgraded to 2.2. I'm going to get this logged! Thanks.
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted August 16, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 16, 2023 An issue raised in this thread ("Text editing keyboard shortcuts broken in 1954 macOS") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: PD-935). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us.
MikeTO
I believe this has been fixed in beta 1971 but fyi for others, if you fixed your shortcuts to work in 1954 and resaved them, you can't load that file or your shortcuts will be wrong again. I just loaded my pre-1954 shortcuts file and everything was good again. So delete the shortcut files you saved from 1954.
