Bar code generator plans for the future?

I will be needing to make some barcodes for the back of books. I see that the new version of Inkscape can generate bar codes but it does not support cymk. I found a thread explaining how to bring a rgb version into Publisher and change the black to cymk but it sure would be nice to be able to make one right in Publisher.

Well that has been asked before in the forum, there also have been shown several workaround solutions so far ...

Basically it's easy to incorporate different types of barcodes into Affinity apps either as bitmaps or plain vectors here. - If some day a powerfull Affinity API and scripting support will be available, it should be easy to incorporate whatever of these.

I typed barcodes into search but didn't come up with what you are showing. It is all a learning process. If I could delete my question I would.

Well everybody has sometimes such days, what helps for me here then is often, relaxing with a good coffee and doing something else, afterwards taking another fresh attempt to solve the problem of my problem domain.
