Hi, each time when I launch AFD2 the first time for the day on my mac, I get a window popup, titled "delete user data". What´s this about, and how can I get rid of this? Thanks!

That sounds like you're launching the application with the Ctrl key pressed. If you're not doing it intentionally, perhaps your Ctrl key is sticking?

Oh, that´s a good hint, as I use a keyboard maestro keyboard shortcut that includes the control button. I´ll check and report  ............

ha ha  ...........   that´s been the right hint, thanks very much. I just made that new shortcut some weeks ago, and since that time been wondering. Now with other shortcut without control button it´s just fine! Been the fastest solved problem ever!     🙂

Glad it's solved :)

Left the shortcut as it was, only added a little pause between shortcut click and launching app, now it is fine. But I increased the already long launching time further  ......  🙂

Just curious I guess, but how often do you really need a keyboard shortcut for launching the Affinity apps; or put another way, with the added pause wouldn't it be faster overall to launch them in another way, like by keeping them on the Dock (which also lets you drag files onto the Dock icons to open any supported file types in any of the Affinity apps you have there); or from "Recent items" on the Apple menu if you use them often enough; or whatever?

If you are working on your computer, and you know, the next thing you have to do is get the graphic done for customer x, let´s say while just writing mails, it´s not even a second to start the keyboard shortcut so AD2 can launch in the background while still writing mails. That´s by far the fastest and easiest way, to launch an app. I also want to keep my "hidden" dock clean, so this is the best and fastest launch option to me. I got most of my recurring actions done by Keyboard Maestro or Better Touch Tool commands, which make my working life so much easier.
