Relative sizes / color guides / layer history

Recommended Posts

Hi,

There are two things to me that are crucial, t

-The ability to lock guides and change the color of these guides. (Why are they always blue? What if what your working on is blue? How can you see the guides then?) Can we have in the app’s preferences an option to change the color of the guides? In several other apps, this is a possibility.

It’s also very possible to mistakenly move the guides and so I think that the same way you can lock a layer, you should be able to lock guides.

-I believe relative sizes is really important. Even guides for relative sizing could be useful, I found it amusing that keynote has that and not Affinity Design.

In the pixel persona, when using the blur tool for instance, I think it should be saved in the layer’s history; not just in the document's history. When adding an effect to a layer, or changing any color effect of the layer, there is a fx sign on the layer or a little dropdown arrow on the layer where you can select and deselect that effect modify it etc. To me, it does not make sense  that when using the gradient tool or the blur tool for instance, it does not appear in the layers (so I can tweak the blur effect later on in ten days if I change my mind for example) but when using the pen tool, a brush an fx, it does. (appear like a sub layer, or an effect. )

Is my opinion ok? Does it make sense? Maybe I’m wrong. please comment on that.
