storrya
Hi, When opening a Nikon RAW of image size 8256 x 5504 it opens as that size in photoshop and RGB16 BIT. When opening in Affinity Photo Develop module, its size is different at 8288 x 5520, RGB 32/HDR and the edges of the image have disappeared. My settings in develop assistant are set to RGB/16BIT Why is this happening ? Thanks Alan Affinity screenshot Photoshop Screenshot
walt.farrell
It will be RGB/32 until it's Developed, I think. Then it should end up RGB/16 if that's what you have in your Assistant Settings. For the pixel size: the manufacturers provide a larger sensor than they claim, because the outer edges can be unreliable. Most RAW processors ignore those extra edge pixels. Photo doesn't. It retains then in case you find something useful in them. You can crop them off yourself if you don't want them. Usually that means that you'll see more, not less. If you're seeing less than you think you should, you may need to apply lens distortion correction in the Develop Persona or Assistant Settings. Or you may need to not apply it. You should also check whether the correct lens was identified.
