Affinity Photo 2 opens .dng with strong purple cast - works fine in other apps including Adobe

For some reason Amazon is converting and uploading my Sony A1 raw files (.ARW) as .DNG raw files.  When downloaded to my Windows 11 PC and opened in Affinity 2 they exhibit a strong purple cast.  The same image opened in Photoshop via Adobe Camera Raw displays normally.   Bug?
