Rod Johnson
I cannot shrink a new a4 size document below the screen size. When printing photographs I like to copy them onto a new A4 sized document then copy my photograph onto it, the photograph is much greater than the A4 document which I would shrink to fit the A4 by pressing ctrl and negative and shrink in two moves, but am unable to do so in the beta version. I have just downloaded the latest update for the beta version and it does not work in this version either. However it does work in the original V2 of photo. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Did Affinity forums. What OS do you use? I'm a little unsure of exactly what you're doing, as Ctrl+- would usually just perform a Zoom Out, which will make the image on the screen look smaller, but would have no effect on the actual size of any image. carl123
Ctrl+- no longer works with the numeric keypad, in the latest beta. You have to use the main keyboard (-+) or remap zoom in/out to use the numeric keypad in the shortcut settings walt.farrell 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff Sean P Posted August 9, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 9, 2023 Hi Rod, This is something we're aware of and is a side effect of fixing another issue (NumPad + and - are treated as unique keys). We do have it logged and should have it fixed soon. In the meantime you can use the Ctrl + and - keys on the number row across the top of the letters. Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted August 14, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 14, 2023 The issue "Add ability to map zoom to = and - as well as + and - on the numpad" (REF: APL-1563) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1951". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
