BJP-SEA
I would love to see you all build in some additional functionality in the panorama tool within Affinity Photo. Frequently, I have panoramas that I know are panoramas yet Affinity Photo doesn't recognize them as such or can't find the overlapping elements in a set of images. I would love to see you give us, the user, the ability to choose to manually assemble the photos and then have your application go from there (btw, there is a program called 'DoubleTake' that does this but it doesn't have anywhere near the blending and smoothing functions that Affinity does). Please...and thank you... Bruce
Granddaddy
Perhaps the Affinity Photo stacking function would be helpful when panorama fails. Stacking is far more robust than most users realize. Stacking enables you to build panoramas non-destructively with manual adjustment of alignments and masking as demonstrated at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eSLyZA0Zao You can also use stacking to make action sequences from a succession of photos taken while panning across a scene even without a tripod. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/114815-create-an-action-sequence-by-stacking-panned-photos/ Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6; Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6.
