Glitter borders for Affinity

Hi!  FIrst of all thanks so much for your Affinity products.  I've been with you for years (actually my website is still Serif Webplus 8 😎  I even recognize some of the moderators from the Webplus help community. 

Soooooo, I have been getting used to Affinity Designer - haven't even touched Affinity Photo (I have the suite).  
I was trying to get a glitter BORDER as, I was trying to recreate a graphic that I licensed.  I see all these beautiful Style Glitters, but none for the border.  Am I missing something.  There must be a way to apply what I see in the Styles area to a border of an object or a letter and not just the whole letter, shape, etc.

If this is not possible, can you pleaaaaaase tell me how to make Glitter Borders (comprehensive please).   I will supply the image.  I'm trying to add a word or two but in the same style as what's provided.  You'll see that "Just" which is the word I need to change has a gradient glitter border!  Sooo cool.

If you have a vector shape object, you can apply a stroke to it & then using the Fill Tool set to apply a bitmap fill to the stroke, use a bitmap of your glitter image.

here is a tiny tiny tutorial how to make an outline glitter.

Open the Designer document. There I explain, hopefully understandable, how you can create contours with glitter.

Make glitter all over the world.afdesign

Thk you....wish there were more Affinity Designer glittery brushes.  Everything is Procreate or Affinity Design for IPad. Some of the Photoshop brushes will import but you can't edit or change the color on them.  Thanks anyway.....
