Do not have "page start on left" function?

Hi, I have been using Affinity Publisher for 2 years, but since version 1.0 I have a problem.
I usually create books that start from the left page (for Japanese manga), but when I create a document in Affinity Publisher version 1.0 to 2.0 and set "Start from left", the first page disappears and other pages remain "From left to right" (assuming the reading order is right to left after page 1), so that's why I had to transfer my workflow to indesign.

Is there no "page left to right" feature yet, or is it just a bug that was never fixed?

Page flow is (as it was in V1), from page 1 to page "n" (5, in your example), from left to right. There is no provision for right-to-left text display, nor for right-to-left text flow between pages.

This is not a bug, simply a function that is not implemented, and as such would be more appropriate as a Feature Request.

One tip for changing documents that start on the right to start on the left. In this test document I have 3 pages.

• The numbers at the top are art text and when the document is converted to start on the left they are still good.
• The numbers in the middle are in linked text frames on the actual pages and when the document is converted to start on the left they are still good.
• The numbers at the bottom are in linked text frames on the master page and when the document is converted to start on the left they are wrong. The first page's text frame will not be linked to the second page so you would then need to manually link those two frames for the document's text to show up on the correct pages.

This isn't a bug, it's more of a limitation for how Publisher handles master pages and spreads.
