Recolour Adjustments and vector export

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm trying to change the color of a vector image using the recolour adjustments such as in this tutorial video (

) but it's causing the image to rasterize upon export. Is there any way to recolour an entire image such as in the video and still export a vector pdf?

Thanks,

Chas

It's unlikely that there's changes here anytime soon because most formats don't have native support for those features.

So unless PDF specs are updated/changed, there's isn't much we can do to avoid rasterising the output.

Maybe with SVG this becomes possible later but it will take considerable time until we and the spec get there.

But what sense does this make in conjunction with the recolor/ HSL Shift adjustment?

I mean PDF supports color and AD could just replace the originally created color by the shifted color??

That refers to pretty much all color adjustments I can think of? Maybe a bit harder on Curves that modify gradients but apart from that....?
