Publisher--Print Planner as 2 Pages per Sheet on MacOS

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I design dated printable planner pages. I am attempting to print the mini size (4.625in by 7in) as two pages per sheet of paper and have it set up to print front and back so I can flip through it like a book.

I have tried the N-Up feature (which I think is the same as booklet printing?) using the print dialogue from Publisher. My problem is I cannot keep the pages in order. I mean there is always a blank page after the monthly spread, when I need it to be a weekly page, as it is set up in Publisher.

If I need to design it differently, that's no problem, I just can't figure out how else to setup the pages to achieve a seamless print.

Thank you!

The print settings depend where the final result should flip:
A.  In the centre (= between pages)?
B.  Or at the left/right outer edge?

First reset your .afpub layout to start with page 1 on a right page as before.

A.  Choose booklet printing. This mode will do imposition and arrange pages to their required order. (e.g. first + last page on a spread, second + penultimate page on a spread, etc.)

B.  Choose n-up printing. Set the "Skip" value to 1 to get the first page maintained on the right side of the first print sheet and the months started on the back of this sheet.
