Cannot export to PDF...

I cannot export work to PDF. Generating a preview take forever, and if I skip waiting and choose export, got a message that the file cannot be created. See attachment.

Hi @Baniola,

Can you provide a little more information about the file you're trying to export, file dimensions, Publisher file size, the number of pages you're trying to export to your pdf file and so on...

Filesize on disk is 3.1MB (Publisher format)  Page format is A5 number of pages is 111. I tried export spread, separate pages, and several PDF formats with the same outcome. The file so far doesn't contain images only text in text frames. I allowed Publisher to access the folder (namely the Document folder) to write to.

Is it a file you are happy to upload so we can take a quick look to see if we can figure out what's causing the issue? If not you can request a private Dropbox link to upload to instead so someone from the moderation or development team can take a look...

Which version of Publisher are you using, 2.1.0 (1903) or the version released today 2.1.0 (1931)?

Does your file contain any special fonts?

Does your file contain linked objects?

If you’ve used linked files, have they all been created with version 2, or do they come from version 1? Have you checked in the same place that they are not corrupted and can be reached from the software in which they were created?

The document doesn't contain special fonts or linked files. I prefer embedded. All documents were created with version 2. I have 3 documents 2 of them stalled in export and one works OK.

I don't get any errors. What are your export settings? Which 2 of those documents fail to export for you?

I use the default setting for Print. Export fails for Pandorina... and Pribehy...

I don't have your fonts, so it could be that. Can you package your doc and re-upload please?

I just uploaded problematic document as package.

I've tried. I closed all documents and open from the package. Same behavior.

It doesn't look like a complete log. Did you try to export to catch the error?

That seems to be complaining about a problem with an icc profile, perhaps the Serif Eurocoated V2 profile. 

The one that worked used sRGB.

Try a different ICC profile and see if that's any better
