Staff stokerg Posted August 3, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 3, 2023 Hi @Sadsadcrushand Welcome to the Forums, Do you get an error when trying to save? If you do, can you post a screenshot of the error? If you are trying to save directly to a Cloud service, try seeing if you can save to local storage on the iPad and let me know the results. This was mentioned by a lot of users that they couldn’t backup to cloud. Not everyone, bet still a lot. Sadsadcrush

pruus
It looks like there is no contact with the drive, or bad contact. Does your iPad have enough free memory? If you start a new document, and try to save that, first to the iPad, than save to the normal location, is that possible?

Staff stokerg Posted August 4, 2023 Staff Share Posted August 4, 2023 Hi @Sadsadcrush, When i file gets stuck like that on the home screen, where it just won't load, there isn't a great deal that can be done. You can try tapping on the menu oi've indicated in the attached screenshot and selecting Duplicate and then try saving the duplicate. The other option as outlined by Gabe on this post may allow you to recover the file. Can you just try fully closing Affinity Photo and then start it up and as soon as you see the purple loading screen, starting tapping on the screen and you should get a window appear with a number of toggles on. 1 toggle, clear user defaults will be enabled and you can just tap on Reset. Affinity will then load as normal. Now try your normal workflow and see if you have any issues. Sadsadcrush
