arifg
I prefer to use alignment shortcuts but I found that any alignment shortcut is fixed to "selection bounds" behaviour, and "spread" if you choose only one object. like if I go to alignment menu and change behaviour to "last selected", then use the shortcut, it doesn't see the change. I really think that this shouldn't happen. heres the clip; I'll use the "align to center" shortcut but "last selected" option is enabled: this is an issue for All Affinity products release 2.1.1 happening in windows 11 HW acc ON
walt.farrell
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying or showing. Sorry. I can say that as I understand the design, you first must choose the operation you want, such as Align Center from the Align Horizontally part of the dialog (1 below) and after that you choose what you want to align to (2 below). Just try this: go to settings> shortcuts>layer. assign "align centers" to any button. I prefered "Alt + C" prepare aligning 2 objects by using alignment panel first with align to any option but not "selection bounds". I prefered "last selected". now use the shortcut you assigned. You have to see that this shortcut will always use "selection bounds" instead of your preference. why this is a problem? it makes the shortcut less useful, like a table wihout a leg. and for my workflow I always use "last selected" option. btw this problem doesn't apply for aligning only one object, it is working as it should. walt.farrell
pruus
If you group both objects, and than justify, the distance will be hold.
