Custom B&W preset will not load

Recommended Posts

The title of this YouTube video is misleading but the content was interesting and I thought I'd give their settings a run for a bit to see how it went as a default starting point.   However when I loaded the suggested colour settings and clicked on "Add preset" it did not save to B&W, either from Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Black and White or by selecting B&W from the studio options.

I'm on V2.2.1.1 on an iMac and MacBook Air running Ventura 13.4.1

Adjustment presets are only available from the Adjustment studio panel which is enabled under the top-level Window menu

Is that what you are looking for?

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thanks Carl - that worked.

Alternatively to an adjustment preset you can add an adjustment layer to the Asset Panel and use it from there.

If you first activate the "Insert inside" button it gets nested inside a selected layer.
