billtils Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 The title of this YouTube video is misleading but the content was interesting and I thought I'd give their settings a run for a bit to see how it went as a default starting point. However when I loaded the suggested colour settings and clicked on "Add preset" it did not save to B&W, either from Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Black and White or by selecting B&W from the studio options. I'm on V2.2.1.1 on an iMac and MacBook Air running Ventura 13.4.1 Bill Retina iMac (4K display, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM) OS X 10.11.6 Capture One 10.

Adjustment presets are only available from the Adjustment studio panel which is enabled under the top-level Window menu Is that what you are looking for? billtils Posted July 31, 2023 Author Posted July 31, 2023 Thanks Carl - that worked. Retina iMac (4K display, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM) OS X 10.11.6 Capture One 10.
Twolane Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 I have that preset loaded, too. Glad you got it sorted. Her site has dozens and dozens of videos on Affinity. Check it out. 1) MacBook M3 Pro 18/512 - Now my daily driver. 2) I liked it so much I added an M4 Air. Consider me a convert. 2xDell laptops on Win 11 frozen at 23H2. Alternatively to an adjustment preset you can add an adjustment layer to the Asset Panel and use it from there. If you first activate the "Insert inside" button it gets nested inside a selected layer. • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.6.2 | Affinity V2.6.3
billtils Posted July 31, 2023 Author Posted July 31, 2023 Thanks Thomaso, I have implemented Carl's suggestion and everything is working fine now. Retina iMac (4K display, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM) OS X 10.11.6 Capture One 10.
