retrograde
Both of those are pretty sweet. Going to look into them a bit further soon. I found a great little app (for 7 bucks!) called Colour Constructor for digital and traditional painting colour idea generation. It works with light falling on an object that generates palette swatches from the highlights and shadows. All colour is customizable including the light colour and number of lights. Awesome resource for the painter in all of us. Here's a link to a polycount article on it and the Gumroad link to buy it. I also attached a screenshot I took of my version for a quick look at the simple but pretty awesome UI. http://polycount.com/discussion/154487/new-painting-tool-colour-constructor https://gumroad.com/l/ColorConstructor justwilliam, affinityashh and paolo.limoncelli 3 Quote http://www.kevincreative.com https://www.behance.net/kevincreative https://dribbble.com/kevincreative https://www.instagram.com/kevincreative/
paolo.limoncelli
Yeah! It is simple yet amazing. I'm going to buy it too! The roadmap includes gamut shapes too Quote The white dog, making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers
justwilliam
Thank you for sharing this, retrograde. I've looked at the related videos and although this is not something I need nor would use that often it is definitely something that I want to have available for when it will help me. I will definitely be downloading it. But I can't help thinking that this would be a wonderful tool to have as an option in the colour picker within Affinity Designer- wishful thinking.
