Text selection auto scroll doesn't work for multi-column text frames

If you Shift+select text from the bottom of the left column in a multi-column frame to the top of the next column (or vice versa), Publisher will auto scroll the page but not enough to show the selected text. Doing the same thing in two linked frames works fine. Arrowing to move the insertion point works fine in both linked frames and in a 2-column frame. It doesn't matter if the text frames are on regular pages or based on masters.

This screen recording shows it working fine for the two linked frames on page 1 but not working for the 2-column frame on page 3. I recorded this in the 2.2 beta but this bug is in v1 and 2.1, too.
