Affinity Designer 2 Outline A Letter

Recommended Posts

I have a white font on a darker background.

How do I create a black outline for each letter?

I'm still looking in the software. :)

I know how to do this in other software :)

Thanks for any advice.

Move Tool, select layer with text, Swatches panel - set Outline/Stroke color (not Fill color) to black, Stroke panel - stroke Width to nonzero value (Style must be Solid line).

@pplaut, FWIW note that you can also use the Appearance panel to add the stroke like @v_kyr showed ... but unlike for vector shapes you cannot add a second stroke to the text. They may add this option eventually but so far it has not even made it to the current 2.2.0 beta.
