anto
If you click ALT and Shift you can move any text in text frame. Is it bug? 2023-07-27 21-26-17.mp4
MikeTO
I can't speak to the shortcut being used but it looks like you're changing Character > Positioning > Baseline. Return
I don't get that result when using only alt+shift If I add the arrow keys into the mix it will indeed change the baseline for chosen characters.
Return
Question is though if it should be possible to edit properties of the text when your out of edit textmode? As the Alt key is an override option to edit the document(panning) instead of editing the text itself.

That's only the case when you press just Alt (and only in the 2.2 Beta). If (in the Beta) you use Shift, Ctrl, etc. with Alt then you're using a different shortcut. I think @anto posted in the wrong forum, you can see he's using the beta version in his video and is ,I think, talking about the Alt override walt.farrell

Good point about the topic being in the wrong forum here in V2 Bugs found on Windows. Perhaps a Moderator will move it. Return
Alt+shift+arrow key(s) are the default shortkeys for the baseline when in textmode. When using Alt as override it shouldn't be possible to edit textproperties with any modifier added to the Alt key. It should simply be the override and nothing else. That's why I opted for another key combo as opposed to only the Alt key, this is, as you mentioned, the key for windows menu items and also for special characters when in combo with numpad keys. So as I suggested Ctrl+Alt could be the override option because it has no windows/mac functions( I think) or even function in text. It only is used in the affinities for zooming in and there are multiple other ways to zoom. walt.farrell
