Mikey05 Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 For some reason in Publisher when converting to PDF the long hyperlink (four lines) will not open, it goes to Page Not Found. When I have converted the link to PDF in Word there is no problem. Short hyperlinks work OKMoonraker August 2023.afpubMoonraker August 2023.afpub Moonraker August 2023.pdf
v_kyr Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Probably due to multiple lines wrapping (end of line breakings). - BTW using such long URLs in shared newsletters etc. looks always odd and unprofessional, you may concider using instead things like TinyURL here in order to shorten & customize such overlong URLs. - Further that "Greenkeepers Corner" text on pink background box leads to eye cancer, I would use some more decent colorings here instead! ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
Mikey05 Posted July 27, 2023 Author Posted July 27, 2023 Many thanks for your comments. Not sure what happened when transferring the documents across but can assure you that the background colour is not pink but a pale green.
Mikey05 Posted July 28, 2023 Author Posted July 28, 2023 Have answered my own question. Highlight the url text - go to text drop down menu - down to interactive - insert hyperlink - change to url. When I exported to pdf the link worked fine. Happy days!! Old Bruce 1
