How do I add bleed to an arch shape on designer

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I am trying to prepare an arch shaped wedding invitation on Affinity Designer that requires a 3mm bleed for printing, however I cannot get the bleed to go around the arch, it just goes around the edge of the rectangle.  Is there a way I can have the bleed around the object rather than the page?  Thanks in advance

Hi @Nikk and welcome to the forum.

You can use the Studio Tab Appearance to set outlines for your object. Set for both strokes Join to mitre and Align to Align Strokes to Outside.

Might be an idea to take a screenshot because I'm not how that would work unless you have a plotter/cutter.

You could use the contour tool.
