BengtCa
When I have to add a new pixel layer, this is always created in the form of a black square instead of a rasterized one. How do I get a rasterized square instead as the function is not the same? /Bengt
GarryP
Which application are you using? How do you create a new pixel layer? Where do you see the “form of a black square”? What do you mean by a “rasterized square”?
thomaso
It sounds you want to activate the display feature "Transparent Background" (for the document) or "Checkerboard Background" (for layer thumbnails). There is an option in the Layers panel. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
BengtCa
Thanks thomaso, I had not seen this possibility with the Checkerboard background. Must test.
