sdavis2
I'm quite new to photo editing, although I'm loving Affinity Photo so far! I saw the thread about stop animation but I am not completely familiar with the terminology so I'm not sure if what I want to do is the same. Is it possible to insert an animated picture into Affinity Photo and preserve the animation? I have seen that this is possible in photoshop - here is a video showing what I want to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvmjmh0UjHk but am not sure if it is possible in Affinity Photo. Thank you very much!
Staff Callum Posted March 16, 2016 Staff Share Posted March 16, 2016 Hi Sdavis2, Welcome to the Forums :) Unfortunately Affinity Photo doesn't support animated .GIF files at the moment. However that doesn't mean that it wont happen in the future! C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
