mmucha Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Hi, we have the problem that the only copy (i know... I know...) of our printed programme got corrupted somehow. Just opening the .afpub with Publisher results in "The File Type is not supported". Same goes for trying to add the corrupted file as new pages to an existigen projekt. So we are quite lost here. We are using the latest version of Affinity Publisher 2.1.1. Is there _any_ way to recovery the file? The Windows preview at least shows us the title page so the data seems not to be lost completly. Help would be greatly appreciated!
walt.farrell Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @mmucha. Is it a file you can share publicly here, so we users can try to help? If not, a Serif staff member can provide a private Dropbox link so they can try helping. It is not always possible, unfortunately. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. mmucha Posted July 19, 2023 Author Posted July 19, 2023 A private Dropbox link would be preferable :)
