Affinity Publisher V2 - File corrupted? "The File Type is not supported" Help needed

Recommended Posts

Hi, we have the problem that the only copy (i know... I know...) of our printed programme got corrupted somehow. Just opening the .afpub with Publisher results in "The File Type is not supported". Same goes for trying to add the corrupted file as new pages to an existigen projekt. So we are quite lost here.

We are using the latest version of Affinity Publisher 2.1.1. Is there _any_ way to recovery the file? The Windows preview at least shows us the title page so the data seems not to be lost completly.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @mmucha.

Is it a file you can share publicly here, so we users can try to help? If not, a Serif staff member can provide a private Dropbox link so they can try helping. It is not always possible, unfortunately.

Hi Mmucha,

Please upload your file to the below DropBox link. Please note its not always possible to recover files and this process can take some time so if this file is time sensitive you may be better off starting from scratch I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you.
