KarinC
I'm 16 pages into a manual. Publisher 2.1.1, windows. I had it set up as a two page spread. I 'saved as' then changed to a single page spread so I could print it out. On many pages that caused lines and lines with arrows or dots or brackets on the end of the lines to move way off from where they should be. It didn't happen on every page. I double checked to be sure that the lines were in the correct layer and page (a challenge sometimes). One page has about 60 tiny arrows that seems to not only move but reversed position. It's going to take a while to figure out where they all should be. I don't know if this is a bug, but I decided I better only work with it as one page spread. In this case they are all over the place, even reversed from where they should have been. Don't change to a single page spread, just export to PDF and choose All Pages from the Area in the Export Dialog instead of All Spreads. Then print the PDF from whatever PDF viewer you use. KarinC
I changed the master to a single page layout and all of the exact same lines moved as before. I fixed them all and will keep it single page. It is strange that some moved but others didn't. I'm glad I figured it out before I went and finished all 50 pages. It would be much easier to just Export as a PDF (choosing All Pages rather than All Spreads in the Export dialog) then Print the PDF. Then I saw your post. It really should not do that. I have messed around with it back and forth and the same several hundred lines (usually those with with arrow heads) on multiple but not all pages moved the same amount and in some cases the groups of arrows would be transformed horizontally and sometimes also vertically. I do not want to take the chance later on that this would also happen if exported to pages in PDF as you pointed out instead of spread like I did. I will have to test it out when I get time. Something is causing it consistently. In the meantime I will work on single page view and hope that Amazon KDP requires it like that. So, that's why I did that. This project is a HUGE amount of work already, so not taking any chances. This is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. Publisher (and Designer) is making it all possible. (If you upload facing page spreads to KDP it will be rejected.)
