Replace photo in publisher = crash

Recommended Posts

1. When placing photos in publisher, images don’t adhere to resize but rather hold on to their original size even after export. I also tried to replace image and it crashed twice now.

2. It doesn’t remember the source files after updates and therefore all images are blurry and must all be replaced.

3.  I also noticed the sans noto fonts still freezes every time I hover on it.

4. Missing dictionary for German.

It's not a missing dictionary for German. It's a missing dictionary for English as spoken in Germany. You probably need to set the Language that you want that text to have, but how you do that may depend (since you're using macOS) on what your system language setting is, what your keyboard language settings are, and what language you've chosen for the User Interface in your Publisher Settings (General, at the bottom of the page), and what language is specified for the text (Character panel, Language, Spelling or in the Character or Paragraph Text Style you're using for that text).

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Have you got some steps to replicate the issue or a screen recording?

It doesn't need to be an existing document, replacing an image in a new document also crashes Publisher 2.2 1903.

I believe this has been logged and marked as fixed in an Internal build so we should see the fix in the next Beta Release...
