Smart Object on Affinity Photo 2.1.1

Recommended Posts

The Affinity applications don’t have “smart objects”, as such, but they can certainly be used to create reusable mock-ups.

Do you have any particular type of mock-up in mind?

If you can give us a visual example of what you want to make, and give us an idea of what you want to make it from, then we can advise further.

Yeah I want to produce a mockup and sell digital products using affinity photos from scratch, take a photo of a product like a football jersey then create it into an editable mockup file and sell it

I still don’t understand what you are trying to do because that description is quite vague.

Please:

  • give us a visual example of the jersey;
  • tell us what you want to change in the jersey;
  • show us what you want to change it to.

An existing visual example of a ‘before’ and ‘after’ image would also be useful.

APh had these capabilities since V1 apps, so there usually has nothing changed in this regard. - In order to see how to create mockups with APh take a look over the following referenced links ...

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
