PhotoplusX8 and DrawplusX4 won't load to the final hurdle

Photoplus gets to the final screen but won't load it and the circular symbol denies any further attempts. Drawplus gets to the final screen but a Product Update Checkbox appears and can't be removed, thus preventing any further access. Ive used %appdata% and reloaded and restarted many times but to no avail.
