Pyanepsion Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 v. 2.2.0.1903 and older. Hello everyone, https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fichier:FRANCE24.svg This problem concerns the import of SVG files (here from Wikipedia) by Affinity Designer. The software adds black and blue colours that are not present in the original file and make the file structure more complex. To reproduce this problem: Download the attached SVG file from Wikipedia. Open this file with Affinity Designer. You will see the unexpected black and blue colours and a more complex file structure. A workaround is to load the file into InkScape, ungroup everything several times and then paste it into Affinity Designer. 6 cœurs, 12 processus • Windows 11 pro, 64 bits • DirectX 12 • Licence universelle Affinity macOS+ Windows + iPadOS • Écran HDR 4 K. → This message was originally written in French. Hangman Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Hi @Pyanepsion, I believe the reason you are not seeing the colours as expected for this particular SVG file is because it's styled using CSS which Affinity Software doesn't currently support... <svg id="/media/FRANCE24.svg" data-name="Calque 2" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 169.3 159.62"> <defs> <style> .cls-1, .cls-2 { fill: #fff; } .cls-2 { fill-rule: evenodd; } .cls-3 { fill: #29b1e6; } </style> </defs> The blue shown, i.e., #29B1E6 is actually correct but Affinity Designer isn't picking up the white fill #FFF Pyanepsion and Chris B 2 Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
