massform Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Hi, I'm having a problem with displaying the text panel in Designer 2.1.1 for Mac. If I use the program in Windows 10 the panel opens by clicking in the Windows menu...using Mac this doesn't happen. The OS version is 13.4.1(c). Is there a solution or where am I going wrong? Quote
GarryP Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Welcome to the forums @massform Which “text panel” are you referring to? I’ve attached a screen-grab of the Window menu on Windows; can you state which panel you are trying to open? When you say “doesn’t happen”, what do you mean? Do you mean that you can’t find the menu, or you can’t find the menu option you are looking for, or that you can’t click on the menu option, or that you don’t see anything happen when you click on the menu option, or something else? If you can tell us more about what you are trying to do and give us a full-screen screenshot showing your application window we can probably help further. Quote
massform Posted July 16, 2023 Author Posted July 16, 2023 I attach 2 explanatory images: in Persona Design if you click on the text item nothing happens (imm.1). instead in Persona Pixel the same action involves opening the panel (imm.2)... I hope I can make myself understood because the screens are in my language (Italian) Quote
walt.farrell Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Each Persona has its own arrangement of the Studio panels. Possibly, in the Designer Persona: You have that panel configured to be in a docked Studio (Left or Right) that is hidden. Check the menu Window > Studio to see if one of the Studios is hidden, and show it. or If you have multiple monitors, the panel you want was last displayed on a monitor that is disconnected or turned off. If that's possible, try connecting it or turning it on. Or try Window > Studio and Reset the studios. A full-screen screenshot is one which contains everything on your screen – all the way to the edges – so we can see what you can see. We often ask for full-screen screenshots because they can contain clues as to what the problems is or where to look next. These clues can be in various places in the user interface and are sometimes not obviously/directly related to the issue. For instance, a full-screen screenshot would have shown us, without needing to ask, whether Walt’s first suggestion above was a possibility; we would have been able to see if your Right Studio was visible and which panels are in it. walt.farrell 1 Quote
massform Posted July 16, 2023 Author Posted July 16, 2023 I apologize for the lack of precision in the images I have sent. I fixed my problem with with tip no. 2 by Walt. Thank you very much for your attention to my topic. Thanks a lot Walt and GarryP walt.farrell 1 Quote
