I just noticed today that in the Stroke Panel on the Deskop (Mac) the width is always in Pts, even if the document units is set to Pixels.  The context toolbar shows the correct units.  Typing something in the width setting like "3px" will still display whatever that corresponds to in Pts.

Is there any way to get the stroke panel to display in something other than Points?

AFAIK nope, it was even in V1 apps that way.

It depends on parameters set in the Preferences > User interface:
