gwpriester Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Is there a difference between inserting a Frame Break and a Page Break?
R C-R Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Inserting a Frame Break in the text causes the remainder of the text to 'break' into the next Text Frame, while inserting a Page break causes it to 'break' onto the next page. gwpriester 1 All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps (currently 2.6.4); 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
Oufti Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 It depends wether you have more than a frame on a page or not. — Grilled by @R C-R while I was capturing this: Hope it helps… R C-R and gwpriester 1 1 Affinity Suite 2.6 – Monterey 12.7.6 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English. gwpriester Posted July 8, 2023 Author Posted July 8, 2023 So if the next frame is on the next page it's six of one and a half dozen of the other?

Yes, but keep in mind that if you do anything later that adds content to a page you may not get the text breaking to where you want it to. IOW, use whichever break that would get the text flow you want regardless of where the next frame ends up being located. gwpriester 1 All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps (currently 2.6.4); 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
