Unfortunately your video is cropped so we cannot see the checkbox MikeTO is pointing out. As he suggests its likely you don't have this enabled, so any newly created documents will not be created with a Master Page.

It seems that in Publisher (V1 or V2), the Default Master setting is remembered across document presets and across sessions. So, if you turn it off to create one document, it will be off when you create another even in a different preset. And if you turn it on when you create one document, it will be on when you create another. I had never realized that. Andreas CH Posted July 6, 2023 Author Posted July 6, 2023 Das könnte ein ähnliches Problem, wie hier sein. Obwohl es aktiv ist, wird hin und wieder das falsche Element angewählt. This could be a similar problem as here. Although it is active, the wrong element is selected from time to time.
