marco_chacon Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Trying to drag a table around, apparently I copied it and somehow set it so it's inaccessible: It's the table with the X's. It's not in my master files. I can't selected. I think I've found it in the layers panel but I can't delete it. What is this and how can I remove it? Quote

It would help to see the Layers panel, and where you think you've found it. Most likely, in my experience, you've pinned it into a Text Frame that came from a Master Page, and if so, it is considered to be in the Master Page as you will find it in the Master Page layer within the Layers panel. You'll need to use Edit Detached to unlock that Master Page content, and then you'll be able to delete it. walt.farrell Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 All those items with green bars or broken green bars are part of a Master Page, I think. You can perhaps see that if you look higher in the Layers panel. And since those 2 tables are within the items that have those green bars, they're probably also in that Master Page layer.
