Are there shortcut windows on affinity?

Recommended Posts

Hi

Just seen this

and while I was watching, I noticed that there were some little shortcut windows, which I have circled in the image. Is this an option in affinity, and if so how do you make these, or is it some external software connected to affinity?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Bobby Beetle,

These custom shortcut/macro windows look like they are being managed by a 3rd party application, I've not seen these before though so I wouldn't be able to comment on what specific program, perhaps the original creator or another forum user will be able to shed some light on what program they used. 🙂

It's probably easiest to ask in the comments for that YouTube video. The creator will probably tell you.

Looks like you're right, In the Wacom Center you can create and customise on-screen shortcuts in the form grid panels, these exactly match what is shown in the creators video, so he will of created a custom grid panel and shortcuts for Designer.

Thanks, someone on another forum said it might be a Wacom thing. They look damn useful though.

Someone uploaded something similar this week that does not rely on you using a Wacom device

Yes those look like third party "Wacom Center software" shortcut panels ...

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
