I am having an issue with the Master pages only duplicating text but not graphs to the designated pages.

I contacted the designer of the file I was using, he said it works fine on version 1.9.0.932 and on version 2.0.3. I - so I am guessing it is something with the current update.

I am attaching a screenshot to show what I mean-

Hoping there is a simple solution to this!

Hi, I assume the issue is the pages don't have the right master applied to them but it's hard to tell without seeing the file.

It looks like there is more than one master page so check the name of the master that should be applied and then hover over the pages in the pages panel to see which master is applied to them. If that's the issue then apply the master to them. If this isn't is we'll likely need to see the file or you'll have to share a bit more info about the document.

Thank you for getting back to me. I played around with it again- and when I changed the original file from facing pages to single pages, something changed with the file. I am sure you have guessed by now that I am not very 'technically oriented'! I could send you two files- one that I have changed and another that is the original file- if that would help.

Ah, that would explain the table that was off the page in your screenshot. Yes, changing facing pages to single-side pages can be difficult. I recommend avoiding that if at all possible.

If you're able to share the file here publicly I can take a look at it. If not, you may need to wait and see if a Serif employee can provide a private upload link.

Thanks getting back so quickly. I would rather not share the file publicly- how would I get a private upload link?

Just wait for Serif to reply to your thread. If they're unable to answer your question they may provide an upload link.

Hi @BrendaC,

Here's a Dropbox link for your .afpub files: https://www.dropbox.com/request/5ibfkdnVksoW7QOJu7QB if you can upload the 2 files, the original and the one you've edited and I'll be able to help with this :)

As @MikeTOhas stated, changing from facing pages to single pages, can cause issues, so I suspect this will be the main cause of the problem.

Hi

Just uploaded the files.

I have been using these files, and converting them to single pages for several months- without a problem..if that helps.

Thank you for taking a look at this issue for me.

Have you had any luck sorting out the issue?

I was just working with another file, I did not convert it to single pages, and the same issue happened with the tables.

Thanks

Brenda
