More then 2 facing pages

Recommended Posts

Im an Architect and I have to layout several A0 Plansheets side by side. In InDesign i could place more then two pages side by side as facing pages.

Chat GPT suggested a workaround with making one big Page of the size of 3 A0 Sheets and export not a page but the chosen selection of the Page. That works, but is very inconvinient. Would be great if you can bring that in the next update.

The Screenshot shows 6 A0 Sheets on 2 oversize Pages which should be published for Printing to 6 A0 Pages...

As a workaround:

  1. If you also own Designer, you can use Artboards for this. You could create your document with Artboards in Designer, then open it in Publisher, e.g.,  via File > Edit in Publisher.
  2. Or, you could start in Publisher. Switch to the Designer Persona, and use File > New there. Turn off the Default Master Page setting, and set the number of pages to 1, and enable Create Artboard. That will give you an Artboard-based document to begin with.
