Affinity Photo crashing after NIK plug-in

Since I have updated to 2.1.1. I've noticed when I use a NIK plug-in after I close the document i'm working on, it will not open another document, until I close Affinity Photo and relaunch it. There isn't an issue if I don't use any NIK plug-ins. 

• operating system and version MacOS 11.7.8
•    hardware acceleration: Yes - Intel Iris Pro
•    Provide a recipe: 1) Open photo. 2) Go to NIK plugin. Make adjustments and click ok. 3) Export photo. 4) Close photo. 5) Go back to Finder to open another photo and it will not open. 6) Quit Affinity Photo and go back to Finder and it will open. 
•    Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? Every thing worked for version 2.1. Once I upgraded to 2.1.1, that is when the issue started.

Hi @BakerMan77and Welcome to the Forums,

I'm unable to replicate this using the latest version of the Nik Collection.  Which version of the Nik Collection are you running and did you purchase Affinity direct from us or via the Mac App Store?
