Works fine for me. What happens when you press the enter key? Nothing? Is the filter applied if you press the Apply button? Are you ensuring the image you're wanting to apply the filter to, is a Pixel Layer and not an Image or RAW layer?

correct it is a pixel layer (you cannot open the frequency layer option on a RAW btw, it will either auto rater or do nothing/maybe warn you the action cannot be done). it apply's if I click apply. I revisited my process again and have figured out why. i had been adjusting the radius first and the method second so when I attempt to hit enter, it's still in method selection as i use the scroll wheel. If i do them in reverse order then i can hit enter right after.
