Affinity Publisher keeps crashing

Hi everyone, 

 

My Affinity Publisher keeps crashing every time I try opening a file that I created. It is  1,16 GB big.

All I need is to export the document to PDF.

Hi @Lebo and welcome to the forums,

Are you able to Save As Package and then upload your file so we can take a look at what might be causing the problem?

If you'd prefer not to upload your file/s to the public forum you can reply to this post requesting a private Dropbox link to upload your files to where someone from the moderation or development team can take a look and report back.

It seems like the file is corrupted. When I try create a new file, it lets me. But when I try open the file in question, it just crashes.

Hi @Lebo,

Does Publisher simply quit or do you see an error message when trying to open the file? Normally you will see a 'Corrupt file' error if the file itself is corrupt.

Happy to take a look if you are able to upload your file along with any associated linked graphics as it could simply be a linked or embedded file causing the crash. The best thing to do would be to Zip everything into a single file and upload it if you're happy to do so.
