[Can Be Closed] Designer V2 - Cannot import brushes

Hey there,

I simply cannot import any brush to Affinity Designer. Neither my own nor bought ones from the shop.

Steps:

1. Close any Affinity program, but Designer
2. Brushes > Import brush
3. Select brush file(s) - .abr / .afbrush
4. Open
5. Dialog appears that they are imported
6. None appear in Designer, but in Photo as often as I import any

I also tried to reset brushes first before importing, as stated here

As this is not the "exact" same problem as in this other thread, I'm opening this one. Hope that is fine...

I don't know if importing ever worked for my Designer, as this is the first time I'm trying to import brushes here.


System:
Windows 10
Affinity Designer 2.1.0
All Affinity products installed via MSI installer
All programs having read/write access

If you need any more detail, please let me know

I would suggest you try file then import content. That is the way that I import any sort of content.

If they are pixel brushes, they will only show up when you are in the pixel persona
